• Payment information — handled entirely by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card details; we only receive confirmation of your subscription status.
• Usage information — basic technical logs generated by our hosting provider as part of normal website operation.

3. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account, and to give you access to tips content you've subscribed to or been granted.
• To process payments and manage your subscription, via Stripe.
• To respond if you contact us with a question or issue.
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse of the service (e.g. multiple free-trial signups from the same source).
• To keep the site secure and operating correctly.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing profiling.

4. Third parties we use

We rely on a small number of service providers to run the site, each of which processes data under its own privacy policy:

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
• Vercel — website hosting.
• Neon — database hosting.

5. Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We don't currently use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

6. Data security

Passwords are hashed, never stored in plain text, and payment details never touch our servers. We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Data retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your data deleted, contact us and we'll action it, subject to any records we're required to keep for tax or legal purposes.

8. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• See what information we hold about you.
• Correct information that's wrong or out of date.
• Delete your account and associated data.

9. Age restriction

Apex Punting relates to wagering and is intended for people aged 18 and over only, consistent with Australian gambling regulations. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
